6:30 - 6:35 Introductions
6:35 – 7:00 Jessica Bull and Thor Alvarado, JLA: Briefing on Upcoming I5 Construction Projects
In September 2020, the northbound bridge of the Interstate Bridge will close for up to two weeks as crews replace a cracked trunnion and other parts that lift and lower the bridge. Members from the project team will share details about the project along with the current plans for traffic management. This will also be an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on additional ways to mitigate impacts on the neighborhood.
7:00 – 7:30 Ben DeJarnette, Bridgeliner
Bridgeliner is a local publication in Portland that will be doing a series this fall on housing affordability. Ben (Bridgeliner's director) is hoping to learn more about how neighborhoods like Arbor Lodge are experiencing housing issues, and what questions residents have about the city's growth plan, residential infill proposal, etc.
