Many thanks to Parke Diem Volunteers
About 50 folks showed up Saturday, October 10 between 9-12 for Parke Diem. We had a bird house team, a team to dig out a mud puddle and line it with rocks and gravel, an invasive weed team, and many, many weeding planting beds and around trees, spreading bark mulch too. The baseball diamonds got cleaned up, and Harper's Playground also. Many thanks to all those who showed up, grabbed a trowel or shovel or ladder and got to work. Together we keep Arbor Lodge Park and Harper's Playground both pesticide and herbicide free, and looking good. We can't do it without you! At the end, each group took the traditional slide down the big slide in the playground for a photo.
Thanks again, and we hope to see you at one of our work parties in 2016, check the website for March, May, August, and October next year.Bob Meehan and Ginger Edwards, volunteer coordinators for Arbor Lodge Park
