2023 Arbor Lodge Neighborhood Survey Results

We recently ran a survey for the neighborhood. With 120 neighbors participating, we found some clear patterns emerging. The top priorities for neighbors are:

  1. Safety

  2. Community

  3. Livability

  4. Land Use

We’ll be devoting time each month to brainstorm how we can make Arbor Lodge even better. Check out the full 2023 Survey Results Overview. If you have ideas for how we can improve safety in Arbor Lodge, please join our monthly meetings or let us know your thoughts.

Arbor Lodge Park Dog Off Leash Area Renovation Notice

The Dog Off Leash Area will be under renovation starting May 1, 2023.

The City of Portland will begin renovation of the Arbor Lodge Park Dog Off Leash Area (DOLA) starting May 1, 2023. The project is expected to take 4-6 weeks to complete. A temporary dog off leash area has been identified for use through the duration of the renovation. Portland Parks & Recreation will place fencing and signage indicating the temporary location.

This renovation will improve overall turf health in the area and establish more ground coverage with turf to improve the park user experience. The grass seeds will need time to germinate and root.

If you have any questions about this project, please contact the Arbor Lodge Board and we'll get you in contact with the right person. If you have any concerns about dogs off leash in an undesignated area outside of the temporary location, please contact the Park Rangers at 503-823-1637.
