Willamette Blvd. Active Transportation Improvement
North PDX Connected is an active transportation improvement plan for North Portland focusing on the N Willamette Blvd corridor. Based in community input, the plan seeks to improve safety and comfort for people walking, biking, and taking transit along the corridor and to ensure equitable engagement and distribution of impacts. Neighborhood Clean Up Success
The Neighborhood Association would like to thank all the volunteers who helped make the Cleanup happen. Because of your help, we recycled four truck loads of Styrofoam, three 40-foot containers of metals and mixed materials, and six pallet-loads of electronics, and more than 35 used tires. We also had a Buy Nothing Project supported swap-and-share area that celebrated community and found new homes for many awesome things in the process! Because of your help, the Neighborhood Association will be able to continue to offer relevant services to our neighbors including an off-season bathroom for our park.
Thank you: Julie, Bob, Ginger, Olivia, Mary Helen, Andy, Rafa, Jesse, Mina, Shannon, Nancy, Jake, Star, Greg, Sierra, Tom, Allison, Deb, Beth, Karen, Matt, Laurie, Tom, Robert, Mike, Dale, Peggy, Amber, Julee and Katie.
And our generous neighborhood businesses: Les Schwab, Green Zebra Grocery, El Burrito Azteca, Blackbird Pizza Grindhouse Sexy Coffee, Thai Ginger and New Season Arbor Lodge.
