GENERAL NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING 7/19

There will be a General Neighborhood Meeting of the Arbor Lodge Neighborhood Association on Thursday, July 19th .... 6:30 pm, at the Historic Kenton Firehouse (8105 N. Brandon Street)

Guest Speaker:  JASMINE ZIMMER-STICKY, COLUMBIA RIVERKEEPERS, will speak about proposals and developments concerning coal exports via ports in the Pacific Northwest and the potential impact of coal transport trains through our region.

Documentary & Discussion: GasLand

ALNA is hosting a series of documentary screenings this year.  Our next title will be GasLand, shown at the Kenton Firehouse on Wednes**day, June 20th, at 6:30**.  Dinner is provided and all documentary events are free!

Arbor Lodge resident, Alex Santana (Assistant Professor of Philosophy at University of Portland), will be facilitating our discussion following the documentary.  Please join us in talking about the implications of fracturing and the potential of this occurring in Oregon.
